I posted this recently but not sure if they are the same religion.

http://www.theanswerb.../Question1154791.html

This was a youngish male, also oriental with a very strong accent and not great English but no mention of the Heavenly Mother this time, all earth catching fire and how to prevent getting involved in world disasters.

Again, going on about would I listen to their presentation - erm no! Especially after he had some serious personal space issues, obviously not taking the hint of me hiding behind my door chain (which I refused to remove!) and shrinking back when he kept moving towards me and trying to come in and trying to get him to go away! Think someone should explain to them some "etiquette" for door to door in the hood (right next to Moss Side), especially when a lone female is confronted on her doorstep by a man!

Does this sound like the same lot for anyone who might know?

No idea. Shame he didn't give you some literature.
I just quickly say (politely but firmly) I'm not interested thank you.
I'd want any leaflets the evangelist might be handing out. At least you know then where he's 'coming from' - although in the circumstances I can understand Jenna's caution.
I can't be doing with door knockers - religious or selling stuff, makes you feel really uncomfortable in your own home. Good to hear you have got a door chain though.
I never ever answer the door unless I know who is at the other side. Works for me.
Can't you get one of those eyeball things fixed into the door .I don't know what they call them but you can look through and see them but they can't see you .
Then you can just ignore them if they are strangers and you don't have to open your door to pushy people or lay yourself open to nutters .
"evangelists"

Liars and con artists you mean ?!
<Liars and con artists you mean ?! >

The really disturbing thing is that some of them actually believe in their codswallop!
