tax credits - 100K a year

i have just read an article about a couple who earn £100,000 a year and get tax credit.
Our joint income isn't even a quarter of that and yet ours has gone down to £5 per week. I'm really cross! How come she's entitled to it but we're not? We really miss the £180 we did get (for about a year)
