He'll easily achieve that for the Tories and Lib Dems
there'll be that many fewer libdems at the next general election
Kicked into the long grass for the moment, since the LibDems took their revenge on the lack of support by the tories for a reform of the HoL.

He could easily reduce Parliament by much more than that - let Scotland go independent. As almost all MPs who represent seats in Scotland are Labour or Scot nats, that would mean every "British" Parliament from here to eternity would then be Tory.
Believe it or not, the only thing we might miss about Scotland would not be the oil ( the best of that has gone now ) but the possible wind power. The fiercest winds in Europe belong to Scotland.
Clegg won't let him .
Oh I think some people might miss a certain rather large nuclear submerine base too atlanta!

Yes the Tories went back on their agreement to reform the house of Lords - which would have gone against their interests and in return Clegg withdrew support for the reform of the House of Commons which would have benefitted the Tories.

Bit of a case of trying to have your cake and eat it and being told No!
