Not New, But Perhaps I Should Introduce Myself?

I've been "lurking" on here since 2008. (Hope that doesn't sound too creepy!) I have mostly only posted in Crosswords (looking for help with RT and DT crosswords). I was active on other sites for many years until it became clear there are an awful lot of, well, to be frank, lunatics out there.

However, I have decided that the lunacy on here is pretty much of the benevolent variety (the kind to which I aspire myself).

So, hello, I'm VeryOdd! Pleased to meet you. :-)

Hello Veryodd, it's taken you a while to come out of the wilderness (nearly put closet, but one has to be careful nowadays). Welcome. I lurked on Crosswords for a couple of months before I took the plunge. It's Ok here always someone to talk to.
Welcome to CB, Veryodd. If you ever feel like a quiet, sensible chat just ask for Gness. x

Right Crafty!!!! Yes I know Veryodd is female! ;-)
Hello Veryodd, so do you know a lot of us by name at least?
Hi Veryodd :) x
Hello, I hid in Crosswords for a long time too before I ventured into the other categories. It's a great, friendly site
I doubt you're any odder than the rest of us here. Welcome!
Well, this is THE place for lunacy - Welcome Veryodd. If you are over 50 you'd be most welcome over at the Mad Over Fifties Club, Saturday from 8.00p.m. carriages at midnight. (you can find us in quizzes and puzzles)
DT ??
Welcome Veryodd indeed 1.
yes, excel?
Funny how many people started off in crosswords and then slowly drifted into the mad house.

Blimey! Hello everyone! What a lovely warm welcome! (I only got up the courage to post after the lovely welcome you gave a newbie earlier this evening).

I've been so wanting to jump into a post and give my thoughts, but always think it is a bit rude. A bit like a stranger walking into someone's dinner party.
I've sometimes thought that a fondness for crosswords is one of the first signs of madness.

Welcome, Veryodd. You won't seem so here :-)
have you ever managed to finish a radio times crossword without the help of ab?
