Can you tell when someone doesn't like you? I'm talking about people you have never met, people on websites like this, they suck up to you a lot, can you tell that they are coming across as insincere?

I have noticed this on another website I visit, yet the person who is being flattered by this poster doesn't seem to notice.

Have you ever come accross this?

Some would say that is the advantage of the internet. Anyone can be anyone they want.

This is why it is a danger, especially with these dating sites. You can put any picture up, describe yourself in any way you wish and no one is the wiser. I can say " I love you all", but would it be true? Unless you know me personally you would just laugh & scoff, so is it any different to flattery etc.? Just take it with a pinch of salt! :-)
