Am I A Lesbian? I'm So Confused, I'm Attracted To A Female To Male Transgender?

First of all, I want to clarify that I have nothing against gay, trans, or bixesual people. I have many few friends who are like this and I love them very much, they're the nicest and sweetest people you'll ever meet. Anyway, there's a guy in my class who is a female to male transgender and recently I have been developing feelings towards him. Today, as I was waiting for the campus shuttle I felt two arms wrapping around my neck and when I turned over it was him, he just smiled and we talked for a few minutes. He's really sweet! he looks like a guy however, he still has the features of a woman. I know and I'm sorry for being so stupid towards this subject, my question is am I a lesbian? I don't know what to do anymore..this is all very much confusing.

You shouldn't worry too much about your sexual preference. If you like him and he likes you, go for it and see what develops. You may become attracted to other women later on or stick with him, even if he has the operations. No doubt there will be a label for your feelings somewhere in a shrink's book, but go with your feelings.

It might be worth trying to think about yourself as being attracted to people, rather than men or women or transgender people. For the right person I'm sure most people might find themselves attracted to someone they'd never expect to be attracted to. So try not to worry about it, let things happen, but only as long as you feel comfortable with it.

Why do you need to label yourself if it causes you problems ? Go with how you feel. If you like her then give it a try.
