Okay, so in my French class their is this one boy that is constantly arguing with me. He is always trying to be better than me at everything in the class. The teacher will sometimes give me a compliment or something then he will disagree, but doesn't do this to anyone else... What does this mean? By the way, im 13.

It means he's attracted to you. He's too shy to approach you directly, so he builds a connection with you by picking up on things that you say, or that other people say to you. It's a bit clumsy, and it can be annoying, and it quite often comes across all wrong. But, as shoota has said ... it basically means he fancies you.

suad - aah , how romantic - did you both have your hard hats on as well ?
I'd be inclined to tell him to grow up and that he should try to control his jealousy.
I'm still dying to find out who the arm biopsy comment was aimed at!
