The wreckage seems to have been scattered over a big area. If there is any terrorist involvement is was likely they placed a bomb on the plane.

The difficulty here is that even if it was ISIS that shot down the 'plane, is Russia necessarily going to confirm that ?

Not sure of the technical bit here here, but the MH was shot down over the Ukraine...would it not be possible for ISIS to shoot down a plane after it has took off from Sharm ?

IS are not thought to possess SAMs with anything like to capability to reach 31,000 feet.
MH17 was shot down by a much longer range missile supplied by Russia. Of course in that instance the culprits boasted about it on social media, but when they realised what had really happened the posts were swiftly deleted: the exact opposite of this.
A bomb seems more likely as the plane does seem to have split apart in mid air (giving the lie to the footage in the link, which appears to show an intact aircraft)
However, if it was a bomb it would seem rather strange for it to have been on an inbound flight. Either a suicide bomber took his bomb on holiday with him first, or a non-passenger might have had it smuggled it on board at Sharm-el-Sheikh
The crew reportedly had being having technical difficulties since take off and were planning on landing at a N Sinai airfield, which also would suggest that whatever happened it was not a bomb. But who knows at the moment.

That makes no sense. The flight departed from Sharm. Plenty of Muslims in Sharm - and who can say that the perpetrator (if it was a bomb) was aboard? The news tonight said it's possible that the plane broke apart in the air.

Whether or not it is silly but anyone with common sense can put 2 and 2 together. Americans are apparently trying to clear ISIS but was not working. Then Russians start bombing them and straight away USA decides to send in ground troops. Why? Because their assets are being targeted “in reality” now and their drama has been exposed.

How many Muslims do you know who would go to fight, kill or get killed which by any means is extreme and would not be aware of the most basic requirement to be Muslim?
