all know "ill"? Let's hope not. Try WILL.
Question Author
Makes a mockery of Andrew O'Neill's famous "lights of freedom shining over Paris" speech on This Week, doesn't it?
Just a bit v-e. Will try to find out feeling 'on the ground' but suspect that most won't know about this.

Yes, I heard about Abdel-Samad from a link Khandro posted last year. At that time his book was not available in English, but the translation was available at the beginning of this year. Kindle edition only £7.15! I wish that the many people who think of Islam as "just another religion" would read it.

Different topic: I've recently read Peter McLoughlin's "Easy Meat" about the grooming gang scandal and its exposure by Andrew Norfolk and other honest journalists like Julie Bindel. Another Kindle bargain at under £7 by the way. Norfolk traces the phenomenon back at least twenty years and mentions your stomping ground Bradford (amongst dozens of other towns with Muslim populations proportionately greater than that of Rotherham).

I remember your having mentioned no-go zones for women in Bradford. When were you there? Were people aware of grooming in your time there? Also, were you around at the time of Ray Honeyford?

The McLoughlin book is very well researched, Jourdain and packed with references and links. Bradford features often.
People won't listen, because they don't want to know. Face up to it, or head in sand? Pass the bucket.

But everything the left purports to stand for like women's equality and gay rights are things Islam opposes, David. It's odd, isn't it? A Nobel laureate his vilified and driven out of his country for making a non-PC joke, but people who would throw acid in a woman's face for dressing "immodestly" are welcomed here in their - I don't know - hundreds, thousands. Some would call it cognitive dissonance; I'd call it masochism. It's as if the whole "liberal" class has been afflicted by Stockholm syndrome.
I'd call it madness.

Madness? Yes, that'll do?2
Extremely disappointing. - The West that jihadists now terrorise has allowed itself to be weakened. A combination of political correctness, fear of giving offence, fear of combat, and a reluctance to upset illusory stability has led to an incredible series of opportunities for the jihadists .... [and this feeble approach will only give them more encouragement] Gatestone today

The good news is that Hamad will no doubt but the book online and the very fact that it has been 'banned' will make it read even more than if it were on the shelves. The French intelligentsia is like that.

Eventually there will come a time when disaffected Brits will take up arms agains the jihadists in our midst and it will be like a re run of the thirty year troubles in Northern Ireland between Loyalists and Nationalists.
God help the Muslims if they take their anti British protests to the streets of Belfast.
