Indian subcontinent won independence in August 1947 from the British with the creation of two nation state - one with a Muslim majority (Pakistan) and the other with a Hindu majority (India). East Pakistan become a new state called Bangladesh in 1971.

If Pakistan are not separated from India in 1947, 510 million Muslims in the total population of 1.7 billion in undivided India would mean that Muslims would have been only 30% of the total population.

I think you've answered your own question there.

I've read your offering a couple of times and fail to see a question in it, is English your first language?
The question was the title
"Why Is Pakistan Tended To Be More Associated With Terrorism Than India? "
//one with a Muslim majority (Pakistan) and the other with a Hindu majority (India). //

That's the answer.

Baldric,

I can very easily rephrase my question in another way: Why Is Pakistan Generally More Associated with terrorism than India is?

Of course English is my first language and I have passed my 'O' level in English (now called GCSE). My higher education, however, is in scientific and law. I did not study English Language academically at 'A' levels or degree levels.

Thanks for that Donny, Gosh, I hadn't realised!

Let me rephrase: My higher education is scientific and law, not English Language.
Exactly Naomi.

Will, Pakistan separated from India as the Muslims wanted a country of their own. Muslims are the biggest perpetrators of terrorism, ergo, terrorism is more associated with Pakistan than India.

@ 0915, I realised that tbh.
You asked a question and I replied in all good faith, why the sarcasm ?

The answer appeared to be naive imo.

Baldric stated "The answer appeared to be naive imo".

Please explain exactly why?
I think he may have meant the question was naive.

I was referring to 09:18, now use your English skills.
willbe asked a question. Baldric failed to spot it. Donny pointed it out for him. Who's naive here?
The OP, in the main jno, closely followed by Balders.
I think Baldric was referring to the text ,not the title, not having a question in it.

What problem do you have someone's post at 9.18. I have not posted at 9.18, by the way.
perhaps there's something to be said for reading the titles?
phew, a short offering from the OP.

The Taliban aren't keen on Pakistanis gathering for a music festival so those who gather disguise it as a Food Festival
(well, that's what I garnered from an item of The Travel Show which the Beeb aired this morning)

I think you've answered your own question too Will
