It's definitely dangerous. I wouldn't say it's addictive. You might crave some alone time if you're always surrounded by people, but that's a very different thing.

loneliness....ie wishing for company that you don't have......or wishing to be alone and disliking company?
Why don't you give us your views, for a change?
I don't think it is addictive - you can't be addicted to a circumstance, but I do agree that it is dangerous, but the two concepts are not connected.
No I dont.
No loneliness isn't addictive, it's miserable and hateful and anyone who has been genuinely lonely would certainly never crave that feeling again.

That's a 'No' and a 'No' from me then.

I am rarely alone but if I am I enjoy my own company.

We didn't need to know that Balders. :P
AB is a sure cure for anyone addicted to loneliness... it can be dangerous too.

I do love the company of others and even murmer to oneselve when alone but addicted to either nope.
How would you define loneliness compared to the state of being alone?
Loneliness is when you do not want to be alone but you are,
I have been mainly alone for 14 years, but I am not lonely.
