Ethnic Preference?

Is it racist to only consider people of your own ethnicity as attractive?
Would you call a black, oriental or Asian person racist if that considered white people unattractive?
Is it in their genes?

Attractive no problems, culture or religion might give me second thoughts in a long term relationship. Ethnicity less so

Have to agree with Rowan, Ethnicity would never be a problem, it is the person that matters.

I find people of all races attractive (and unattractive), I would never set out to find a 'white' boyfriend if I was single. My first partner was white English, my second Romanian gypsy and third is white American, but if Idris Elba had been kicking about none of them would have got a look in :)

I think people are attractive if they are good looking regardless of colour. Good looking is a personal opinion, what one likes, another may not.

The most beautiful (purely beautiful) man I ever saw was Greek, Theo Theodoridis, but so much more goes into being attractive, like personality, opinions, views and chemistry, race would just never come into it.

I don't think to stick to your own kind is racist (f-off if you're going to to take issue with 'your own kind' but there is obvious attractiveness in all races... if you can't or refuse to see that, then you are probably racist.

I don't think anyone's a racist who is only attracted to their own race, that's what I was saying attraction is more than just the physical, so for me it could be anyone of any race because tbh looks aren't that important in the big scheme of things.
