Does Anyone Seriously Believe In Horoscopes?
36 Answers
For the past 9 months I seem to have become addicted to them ... to the point that I read about 20 a day.BTW none of them ever seem to come true. Anyone else ever done this and how did you stop? I feel like it is taking over my life, to the point that I cant make a decision without consulting all the horoscopes

One of mine this week says I'm going on a much needed trip at the weekend (good guess its Bank Holiday) . Well actually I'm not ,cos I'm staying at home looking after the animals while everyone goes to the GP at Silverstone lol!
Just stop reading them. Better still read every single one and realise just how similar every one is.

Lots of people do. To be fair, I think they don't go by the generalised ones in the newspapers. There have been several detailed studies which show a correlation between the Rising Sign at birth and general tendencies. I'm trying to remember the chap's name, Michel something. French birth certs. give time of birth as well as place and he undertook a study of Army lists - which gave a big statistical oops about the number of soldiers born with either Aries or Scorpio as a Rising Sign. Quite interesting.
^^ Further to that - I remember a quote 'It's the set of the sails and not the gales that show where the ship shall be'. In other words nothing is fixed, there is self-determination, with planetary influences as a factor. It's 40 years since I investigated all this, so I am vague; but don't spend your life being influenced by the newspaper horoscopes. A proper, professional chart will give you indications - it's up to you how you apply them.
