//A family have been filmed hacking up animal carcasses in their back yard in Dagenham. It is not known if the family — celebrating Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice — slaughtered the animals at home or were simply butchering them. Sun columnist Anila Baig said Muslim families traditionally sacrifice a goat or sheep and divide it into portions for Eid al-Adha. But she added: “In this day and age, it’s extremely unusual for someone to do this themselves at home.//

Whether or not this family slaughtered the animals themselves, someone did. Animal sacrifice in 21st century Britain. Oh the joys of multi-culturalism!

Ah, goalposts moved again. Original premise debunked. Out come the completely irrelevant ‘what if’ posts. Unbelievable.

zacs, //you’ll note that that’s not how Naomi chose to spin the question. //

Just saw that as I posted. No spinning from me.

12:04, haha! Too difficult, Zacs? Thought so. Hypocrisy at its finest!

Got to go.
But you didn’t. You didn’t see anyone either sacrificing or slaughtering an animal.

Did you know Sainsbury’s do do halal food by the way?
I haven’t made any ‘what if’ posts so I’ll look forward to you explaining that one. Laters.
If you meant i found your childish ‘How defensive would you be if these were Satanists conducting ritual animal sacrifice in the name of their religion? Would that be ok too?’ Question too difficult.....think again.

Plus I’ve already pointed out I’m not happy with ritualistic slaughter, so the ‘ok too’ is completely incorrect.
I saw a picture of these goings-on for the first time in the paper today. However the animal met its end and whatever it was being butchered for, it was one of the most unpleasant sites I've seen in someone's back garden for a long time. It sums up the cultural divide that exists in the UK, a division that has been exacerbated by the ridiculous notion that multiculturalism is beneficial t this country. Animals are not butchered in back yards on a tarpaulin here in the UK for a variety of very good reasons. Those doing so need to be informed of that.
NAOMI has spoken about "turning a suburban back yard into a blood bath" and "[turning] their back yards into blood-soaked butcheries."

If there were that much blood in evidence, why did the folk making the video not emphasise that?

There is a still showing a clean back yard. Unless they started filming before the butchering of the meat, the services of Winston Wolfe would have been required to get rid of all that blood.
^^^ or even "sights" (oh for an "Edit" facility).

My answer was given to Zacs-Master regarding those who were cutting up the meat, when he put this:

"/// I’ve no idea whether they’re British. What makes you assume they are; ///

Should have I described them as Pakistanis? I didn't because I assumed that they had taken on British citizenship.

Hence my answer:

Well unless they are illegal immigrants, are they not described as British?
Zacs, look at the picture again, when did you last see meat like that being sold by Sainsbury's? I think it might have been Tesco's.
AOG, ‘I assumed that they had taken on British citizenship’

Why did you assume that?
I find tesco’s Meat the best of any supermarket. Other than that, I’m not sure whether your post is meant to be humorous, Vulc.
ANOTHEOLDGIT, they could be French, German or any other nationality, what are you on about?
Coincidence?

//The bloodied fleeces and entrails of up to 63 ewes and lambs were found dumped in a village in Essex yesterday.
Residents in Takeley were horrified when they found the organs after 27 ewes and 36 lambs were stolen from a field 40 miles away in Lindsey.
‘Stealing this number of sheep suggests the involvement of a gang who must have used large vehicles to move them. We would urge the public to be wary of buying meat from unusual sources, such as from pub car parks.’//
New Judge at 12:24. Could not agree more ...
We would urge the public to be wary of buying meat from unusual sources, such as from pub car parks!!??

Or Mosques?
^Yes.....When you addf this bit back into the report....

It is not thought the discovery had any relation to Muslim sacrificial practices carried out during Eid al-Adha.

Police instead feared raiders had stolen and butchered the sheep for their meat to sell on the black market and left the remains on the roadside."
Haha. Betcha that if say...…..Tommy Robinson and his mates had been cutting up a load of carcasses in his backyard for a Bank Holiday barbecue they would have been surrounded by armed plod pronto, and charged with a array of exciting and serious charges within the hour.
What offences would they have been charged with?
