Sadly, whenever discussing ethnic issues, I have to try and establish the fact that I am not a racist.
But of course, the phrase, " I am not a racist but .....", is an open invitation, for the politically correct, and "holier than thou, " brigade to strut their stuff, promoting themselves, and pushing down on honest posters like me.

So, "I am not a racist, " but that phrase should not prohibit me from discussing ethnically sensitive issues, which should not be sensitive at all, and we should be able to address the issues of African immigration by shouting from the rooftops, "Enough, no more, send them back!", without denigrating remarks from Liberal Lefties.

Different kind of muffin Jordy

I was given Lifetime Membership for Birthday last year ;o)
You've just said we don't have the same problems they have in some other countries.

The amount of people that have their picture taken at Muff diving club - they really should start charging!
Theland - I made my views clear on your other post about your habit of starting contentious threads and then whining because you feel picked on.

It's not a dignified way for an adult to behave, so either man up and debate properly, or stop posting and getting yourself upset.
Wise words from Mr Hughes.

3 options.

Andy - am not upset unless insulted.
No discussion is possible if folk sit on the fence and simply criticise.
A discussion usually involves the OP being able to back up their argument with facts.
I’d stick to the Bible and it’s myriad contradicting statements which allow you to wriggle out of most challenges. You don’t quite seem to have gotten the hang of factual debate.

Andy - I find I am having to defend myself against accusations of racism, simply for calling out illegal immigrants committing crime, and our own ethnic minorities committing most of the violent crime.
To shy away from the truth is cowardly and exactly what the Police and Social Services did when presented with evidence of Asian grooming gangs.
No I am certainly not racist but I am a realist.

Zacs - I am not a statistician so if you expect accurate figures from me you will be disappointed.
But only watch the news to see the extent of the problems, and that from news stations that are reluctant to criticise blacks and Muslims in this country.
I’m not so much disappointed as saddened. Saddened that you think people should debate with you on unfounded opinions because without facts, that’s all your statements are. Still, for someone who uses the bible as a basis for a discussion, I suppose it’s only to be expected.

What is the most suitable word or phrase to describe discrimination against white people?
"Reverse Racism? Positive Discrimination?" Because whatever it is, it is simply racism against white British people, and to call it out is itself termed racist.
So any comments on this?
THELAND, how can there be a proper discussion if you can't be bothered to substantiate your claims? You've already said we don't have the same problems as other countries because of the English Channel.

Unless you think the Channel's about to dry up, what are you worried about?

You say you are not a racist, and then - as evidenced on your previous thread - you offer opinions that directly contradict that assertion.

You are lumping together an entire ethnic group as being guilty of being criminals by virtue of that ethnicity - that it coper-bottomed racism, and - as with your Christian debates - you are content to label anyone who calls you on it a 'lefty', or imply that they simply don't understand the world as you do.

Try dialling down your slef-pity, look at what you post, look at the responses, and accept that maybe you are that which you deny.

People would at least respect you for defending your position, however abhorrent it may be - it's the self-pity that won't stand up.

What has the Bible got to do with this?
And what evidence do you have for this ‘reverse racism’?
Theland - // What has the Bible got to do with this? //

It links in with your personality - as evidenced by your posts on religion and race -

You believe you know best, which is fine, but you decry and insult people who don't agree with you, and then cry foul and bleat about how people 'attack you'.

That's not debate, that is thin-skinned selfishness.

You are the Alan Partridge of The Answerbank!!!
But AH Alan P is funny!

Reverse racism - Cheshire Police just found guilty of discrimination for refusing a job to a white heterosexual man. In the interests of diversity of course.
The BBC are notorious for this. Just look at the percentage of news reporters and ethnic minority actors in their dramas.
It's ridiculous and an insult to our intelligence.
