OK, I don't watch BBC normally, but I've drunk a bit too much.
Neither party (knowing nothing about and being strangely incurious about the the core beliefs of the sickos who do most of the raping and the bombing) can work out that there's a moral disease at the heart of fundamental Islam, which is why Islam spawns more sickos than Methodism or Sikhism.
If anti-terrorist officers entered most mosques in this country and interrogated the (mainly foreign speaking Saudi/Qatari funded) imams they would quickly find out that the hatred and the "phobia" to be worried about was not that of British people refusing to accept Muslims and allow them them to practise their faith, but of Muslims hating the country which is their host, and determining to subvert it. Not in most cases by violence, but by pressure to accept the disgusting baggage.
