I think the media collectively tries to brainwash us to their own agenda.

We should be entertained, educated, and given thought provoking content.

Instead we are grist to the mill, in my humble opinion.

Well, Monty Don has me wanting to grow micro greens and get some night scented plants for my balcony at the moments - you could have a point.

I don't swallow all serious News and Documentaries,, they may send me searching for more info.

All I can say is that I feel educated, entertained and given food for thought when I read newspapers or watch the news or use social websites.

I think the term 'brainwash' is perhaps a little strong, but the daily and Sunday papers make no secret of their political alliances, and usually inform and report with those alliances allowed for - whether or not your reading is a pleasing experience because you agree with your paper of choice's affiliations or not is a matter of choice.
