Is H.R.H. Prince Andrew on the Civil list ? I would think so,as he’s 3rd in line to the throne or something like that, well , if that is the case, according to the tabloids which picture him in various “Sleazpots” around the World like Bangkok having a whale of a time with the local “waitress’s” and “hostess’s it’s obvious that he’s having a great time in his role as an ambassador .
Well I for one, strongly object to paying income tax to finance “Randy Andies”. Playboy lifestyle .And as a taxpayer I strongly object to this and wish it to be known that I begrudge every penny of the % out of the sum total I am forced to pay for him.I feel sad for Her Majesty the Queen, who will of course back him up in the most believable way she can. When the case against him is proven.
I think he is a disgrace to the Royal Family who should be self financing and pay rent gas & electric .He should be stripped of all royal engagements and all his freebies including the cars should be auctioned off and he should be forced. to pay back all the allowances he has falsely been accepting put back in the military in the lowest rank possible and pay for all meals,

His entire official income consisted of a £250k allowance from the Queen and a £20,000 per year pension. People have been asking how do he live the life he does with the expensive cars, watches etc. I think it's because both Andrew and Sarah have done an awful lot of dodgy deals including the sale of their house. That was a gift from the Queen but they sold it for 3...

my word you don't want much do you. I too pay tax, but i honestly don't begrudge it for the RF.
not a fan then?
having said that the fallout from Prince Andrew's interview is that his charities will suffer, of which there are many.
I agree with you about him, I can't stand him, think he's an arrogant self-entitled so and so. Some charities and so on are now distancing themselves from him. He's not third in line to the throne btw, that's young George.
RFs are anachronisms anyway, or should be. I don't see that anything he has or hasn't done much changes that.
He's 8th in line and will drop further, which should make him even more arrogant and pouty.
Just for a bit of balance...

He's 8th in line, and he gets 249,000 a year from the Queen's Duchy of Lancaster Estates.

So he's really being kept by his Mum ;o)
The Prince is eighth in line to the Crown and there's not been a Civil List for a few year now.

The Civil List was replaced by the Sovereign Fund and the Prince receives nothing from it and received nothing from the Civil List.

The Fund pays for official trips made by the Prince and he pays tax on his income.
I'm not sure but won't he have a pension from The Royal Navy? He did serve for 22years.
Prince Andrew is 8th in line to the throne , although I agree with what your saying, him and other royals should be paying their own way and not taking from the civil purse,I can accept that the heir and his children and grandchildren can and do ( although a lot of Charle’s money is income from the Dutch of Cornwall) but apart from them, people such as Andrew and Edward, not sure if Anne takes anything from the Royal purse, but those two should definitely be cut loose
He has also made loads of money from investments, property holdings, restaurants in London that he owns, a vodka brand and a perfume brand.
He carried out around 400 engagements last year as part of his official Royal duties and as Corbyloon said these would be paid for by the Fund.
His entire official income consisted of a £250k allowance from the Queen and a £20,000 per year pension. People have been asking how do he live the life he does with the expensive cars, watches etc. I think it's because both Andrew and Sarah have done an awful lot of dodgy deals including the sale of their house. That was a gift from the Queen but they sold it for 3 million over it's asking price. It had been on the market for five years before suddenly changing hands in November 2007. The purchaser was listed as an opaque company based in the British Virgin Islands, who for reasons never properly explained decided to pay £15 million — £3 million over the asking price — before leaving the property empty, decaying for more than eight years, before razing it to the ground.
I think the reason people are distancing themselves from him is because of all his dodgy deals. He even cleared Sarah's 5 million pound debt and Epstein has given her money in the past. Both of them were friends of Epstein and both as bad as one another.
From the D.Mail
That much became abundantly clear during Saturday’s Newsnight interview, when the Prince brazenly waxed lyrical about ‘the people I met and the opportunities I was given to learn, either by him or because of him’, saying they were ‘actually very useful’.
