Absolutely not.....and that's not what she said, either.
As jack said, the subject of euthanasia was neither suggested or inferred.
Not really, an honest view of what is likely to happen if it spreads into the older population. People already frail being a group that places high demand in health and care services also most likely to be killed by the virus or it's secondary effects. This creates space in the community for hospital discharges, and frees up beds. Reality can be cruel and I say that knowing should she catch it my mother would almost certainly be one of its victims.
This is just her view of a silver lining to a potentially bad situation. It has absolutely zero to with euthanasia - she didn't suggest the elder patients should be deliberately infected! Or is your understanding of the word euthanasia incorrect?
Canary is being Canary again.
Not the thin end of the wedge but someone pointing out something in public using wording that she shouldn't have used.
