I'm sure there will be a breakdown of stats like that somewhere Naomi.

Best I have found so far has been a recent list and done a word search.

Doctor appears - 17 times
GP - 13
Consultant - 17

Whether any overlap I am not sure and all names and occupations are not yet made public.

There don't seem to be any recent figures available online. Even the BMA website, which has loads of stuff on Covid-19, doesn't offer any figures:
https://www.bma.org.uk/advice-and-support/covid-19

However it's worth remembering that the death rate from Covid-19 among hospital staff is only HALF of that of the general population, meaning that hospitals are among the SAFEST places to be working at the moment. (It's taxi drivers, bus drivers and supermarket staff who're far more at risk of dying than the general public are).
Here's a similar list to Mamyalynne's. You'd need to go through each name on the list and do some sort of tally chart to count the doctors.

Thanks all.
//the death rate from Covid-19 among hospital staff is only HALF of that of the general population//
doesn't that suggest that the majority of doctors who contracted covid-19 did so when they were not at work?

Not at all. That could be the case but it could also be the case that some, or all, of them contracted it at work.
