In my opinion in that instance, the money wasn’t put to the best use, but in general would you be sorry if the arts were no more?

Most of my bookings have been rescheduled twice and two cancelled completely, both local amateur theatre groups. It’s heartbreaking. I miss exhibitions too. Of course I sometimes think money is wasted on pretentious ***, but that still leaves plenty for me to enjoy.
I love going to the theatre.
Whatever happens the art will survive somehow.
I went to Bath Theatre Royal the other day. It was lovely! Plenty of space to my side, no tall person or big-haired person right in front of me.
I know it can’t continue like that. They’re not making enough money, but it was good to see live action again, and with space!
