By which I mean when do you think a time will be where schools, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, hairdressers, gyms, offices, holidays, weddings, parties and everything else will resume service as close to normal as possible? I have been told by a friend it is looking to be 2022 .... am starting to lose the plot a bit tbh! Anyone care to share their opinion?

Maybe October but I am not holding my breath and have made no plans at all.
Just had a May theatre booking rescheduled to 2022, so not anytime soon.
I don't think that we will ever go back to the life as we knew it before Covid 19.For one example I think that there will be many incidences of people working from home.
2025
I wouldn't care to say until it's clear what impact the vaccination programme is having.
Never, it is something that we will have to learn to live with.
Well I actually feel that their making this COVID thing sound a lot worse than it really is. I’d have to say it might be a few more years before we get to go back to normal. They’ve got a vaccine out but my guess is it isn’t gonna help and then their gonna lock everything back up and this will just continue
'Well I actually feel that their making this COVID thing sound a lot worse than it really is'

100,000 dead.
Worse than it really is, Emily? This Covid thing? You've not had someone close die horribly from...this Covid thing then? You're not worrying and waiting for news of a relative suffering from...this Covid thing?
EMILYADKINS1, which country are you in?
Cloud Cuckoo Land, I think, TCL
It depends what you mean by 'back to life as a whole'.

I think the most obvious restrictions, like shops and schools being closed, could well be out of the way by the late summer.

Clearly there will be long-term changes to society as a whole, but we will assimilate them as we go, because that is how society evolves and develops.

I will be happy when - in no particular order -

I can get my hair cut
Go out for an Italian meal
See my friends
See some live music
Go on a cruise.

Anything else, i will deal with when it comes along.
Emily is in the U.S....where it is probably worse than even the UK, thanks to their previous leadership.
Actually, she contradicted herself in her answer.
We will never go back to as before
Hey it said opinion and thats what my friends always say about it so I don’t have a real opinion
Emily - // Well I actually feel that their making this COVID thing sound a lot worse than it really is. //

In the UK it is really serious, we have the largest death toll per capita in the world.

//I’d have to say it might be a few more years before we get to go back to normal. They’ve got a vaccine out but my guess is it isn’t gonna help and then their gonna lock everything back up and this will just continue //

The vaccine will undoubtedly help. Ideally we will reach a situation where Covid is like flu - a nasty infection that can kill people with long-term health problems, but not a major issue for the majority of the population.
Some think covid is a big fraud for a New World Order & to make selected of NWO super-sonic rich.
