Anyone believe they exist?

Got no real reason for asking other than I’ve been a bit bored n looking into info that shows on ancient Sumerian tablets pertaining to Enki and other “aliens”

yes, they have visited at key moments in time, sometimes interferring when they should'nt. Its pretty obviousl when you study Ancient Egyptian scrolls and hyrogliphics that'something' came down from the sky -they did not have the vocabulary to use so they described what they saw ie: 'Chariots of Fire'.

Ps I’ve never seen any unidentifiable flying objects etc but ... I reckon other words with living beings probably do exist .... just figure why Shld we be the only planet in this vast undiscovered multiverse

So many ancient texts refer to flying vehicles - including the bible - that it would be irrational and rather arrogant
to utterly dismiss the possibility. I do think people from other worlds visited us in the distant past. In fact I think ‘God’ and ‘the sons of god’ who mated with human women were the crew of vehicles from space.

I could well believe there is intelligent life out there, but do not believe they have visited us.

They couldn't know we are here. If they monitored earth from a huge distance, they would be seeing the planet when it was inhabited by dinosaurs. They would have the same problems as us if we wanted to visit a planet squillions of light years away.

Space is pretty big! To think that we're alone is ridiculous. There must be other life put there, and the sooner as we meet them, the sooner we can finally disprove the existence of God.

They may not though if they had super advanced technology enabling them to travel far greater distances at far greater speeds (that is of course if indeed they exist)

Also I read somewhere that the greek 'monsters, such as the gorgons, and hybrids such as the centaur & minotaur , were the results of alien genetic experimenting.

Mozz71 - it mayn't disprove Gods existence though because the question wld then be who created the aliens

(PS the aim isn't to go down the God vs non god avenue btw - there's so much of that going on in AB already )

I've met many an alien from outer-space. Just a bus ride away in Blackburn :-)

Hopkirk, the nearest solar system to ours is about four light years distant. At half the speed of light the journey would take about eight years. Given the technology that isn’t unthinkable.

Hopkirk -this always makes me laugh -defy the 'Laws' of Physics. There is probably so much out there we don't yet know, our 'Laws' are probably hundreds of thousands of years out of date.

Naomi, are there any habitable planets in that solar system?

Mozz, I think they are mentioned in the book. This is not a ‘does god exist’ discussion
but it could very well give some clues to who the gods may have been. It’s a fascinating subject.
