As it appears that the Taliban have very little respect for the female gender and think of them as second-class people I have been wondering why they (Taliban) do not embrace homosexuality. Surely that would fit their ideals more.

unfortunately in the west it is very hard to support islam and their way of life with how conflicting it is to our own ways but islam is split into different categories the more westernised muslims are really ideal to be honest the less westernised can cause conflict within the islamic communitys but you need to know the taliban are terrorists you cant use islam to justify their extremism

Women had a much better time in Afghanistan under King Mohammed Zahir Shah and even the Russians.
Things started to turn when the Wahhabi mujahideen took over. They were funded by the US. After 9/11 we installed a puppet Government which did nothing for women. And now the Taliban have swept them aside.

Khandro at 14.23 - you fervents are always up to your neck in 'research ' to bolster your faith argument, why not use some of that valuable time to learn about something that may educate you in something that actually matters - like the motivation behind rape for example.
