All this Black History month, BLM and taking the knee nonsense.

Just creating a sense of a growing division.

You may find it to be nonsense and divisive but others don't.
It is all a bit earnest and joyless.
Black History Month has been around for about 100 years...in different forms.
I'd think it's a good thing to see history from the point of view of others.
Im not bothered about BHM one way or the other.
What is on my radar is the taking of the knee. Will the Newcastle players be taking the knee at the next game?

If so, will they be taking it for equality or just racial equality for black males?

If the former, who is going to be Newcastle's spokesman that will stand up for women's and LGBT's rights and make it clear to their new bosses that they are against persecuting women and gays?
//who is going to be Newcastle’s spokesman ….?//

No one.
It's to be hoped that assurances given will be adhered to, only time will tell.

I don’t think anyone should hold their breath, mamyalynne.
What about having a White History month?
That gets asked every year.

Start one.

I love History,
Calling it nonsense shows the division is already there.
