I also don't know what's in Ibuprofen, Paracetamol , or other meds, it just cures my headaches & my pains.
I don't know what's in the ink for tattoos, vaping, Botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of mobile phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.
In short.
There's a lot of things I don't know and never will…
I just know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying locked in my home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear and find a little feeling of life "before".
As a child and as an adult I've been vaccinated for mumps, measles, rubella, polio, chicken pox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of said diseases .
I'm vaccinated, not to please the government but:
* To not die from Covid-19.
* To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.
* To hug my loved ones
* To Not have to do PCR or antigenic tests to go out dancing, go to a restaurant, go on holidays and many more things to come.
* To live my life.
* To have kids go back to school and play sports.
* For Covid-19 to be an old memory.
* To protect us.

// ( or anyone’s) reason as to why they refuse vaccination .//
all over the Beeb every day - as part of the 'balance' - foreign stuff being injected, dont think they will get it, like NJ - covid= flu - wont kill them, not proven to be effective, not proven to be safe, had covid, fancy themselves unfit for vacca and or immune, dont need it, wish to exercise choice, wont be forced....
I mean one of them was a doctor for chrissakes ( Reamika Patel)

Naomi24 - “... Anti-vaxxers, please think again...”
Can you define an “anti-vaxxer” for me?
Is it someone who is ideologically opposed to vaccines?
Or is it someone who is hesitant about the current Covid vaccines because of the lack of long-term study data and because most of the vaccines are still in their clinical trial phases and will be until mid to late 2023?
Asking for a friend.

Thanks for the link.
From the article:
“The long-term side effects of COVID infection are a major concern,” Goepfert said. “Up to 10 percent of people who have COVID experience side effects such as difficulty thinking, pain, tiredness, loss of taste and depression. We don’t know why that is, how long these symptoms will last or if there are effective ways to treat them. That is the most troubling unknown for me.”
So let me get this straight. The long term effects [which are currently unknown] of Covid are a major concern. But the vaccine to counteract Covid is not? A vaccine that has been in play globally for less than a year?

anneasquith, she said she doesn't 'agree with it'.
sven666. // Can you define an “anti-vaxxer” for me?//
Someone who, for whatever reason, refuses to be vaccinated.
Khandro, // I’m sure they think they’re invincible … until it happens.//
//You are quick to make many assumptions, //
I'm not making assumptions. Anti-vaxxers must think they're not going to be adversely affected by Covid. She has Covid, therefore she is not invincible.
//why not find out exactly what SHE thinks & please tell us.//
See my reply to anneasquith.

late arrival - moi that is
//You are quick to make many assumptions, //
nope - the ration on ITU of vaccinated to unvaccinated is 1:32
3% vaccinated on vents - 97% unvacc
facts speak from themselves
//So let me get this straight. The long term effects [which are currently unknown] of Covid are a major concern. But the vaccine to counteract Covid is not?//
yes exactly - the disease kills and gives long covid in a large proportion of cases ( around 10% )
and the vaccine does not ( billion doses given - "myocardial side effects in adolescents of vaccination seems to have been overestimated." oo-er even safer than they tbought)
