With their list of stock acceptable responses and beliefs on any given subject and the brutal retribution meted out to dissenters have the TROB/Woke brigade effectively become what they purport to be vehemently against? Are they themselves the enemies of free thought in the modern world?

it advocated for legal recognition of trans people and for reassignment surgery for those who needed it... the institute was closed down by the nazis immediately after they gained power and the contents of its library were burned... the extremely limited rights gained by trans Germans were revoked because the nazis decreed that trans people were a threat to German purity.

there is no "new fascism"... the old one never went away... they took down the swastika banners... got rid of their silly uniforms and put suits on instead... they disguised their ideas in new language without changing the sentiments...

and that's all it took for you to agree with them

Equating modern UK 'woke' people with the likes of Hitler is a worrying indicator of the paranoid (or confrontational and intolerant) mindset of some people. Thank goodness most here are not like that.

Like any beliefs, be them political, religious or whatever, most are happy to deal with themselves and let others find their own way. It's only when people of differing ideals force them on others the problems begin.

Where on the thread has anyone done that? And its not just the UK and 'woke' is only modern. And fascism doesnt just belong to Hitler, in fact many argue he was Socialist in his tendencies.
