Not much response to this question and I can only guess that's because people are genuinely confused, or because they are reluctant to speak out for fear of being criticised. I suspect the latter. However, one transgender activist is clear. Debbie Hayton, a vocal opponent of gender self-identification, supports laws which aim to define women-only spaces as being based on sex rather than gender identity. At a July 2019 event hosted by Fair Play For Women, Debbie wore a T-shirt which (mimicking a slogan by Stonewall) stated that 'Trans women are men. Get over it'. That led to a threat of expulsion from the LGBT+ committee of the Trades Union Congress. In a world where truth is not only no longer a requirement, but is actively discouraged, Debbie is a very welcome breath of fresh air.

I hadn't seen this before. I am very sensitive to those, very few, poor souls born with gender dysmorphia (believe me it is horrible for them), but a woman is a child born with female genitalia who has been appropriately raised as a female until full physical adulthood. That's about as clear as I can be.

The definition of the majority must not be allowed to become second to the definition which could be applied to a minority. This is hard on a minority, but it must hold, I'm afraid.

If someone looks like a woman acts and behaves like a woman, I am happy to call her Miss or Mrs, however, if this person clearly looks like a man and acts like a man, my pretence does not go that far! Either way, I will never be convinced that a woman or a man can change sex.
