Is Religion Dying Out?
HAVE you given up on organized religion?
People are becoming disillusioned with organized religion for a variety of reasons.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
john 15 19
1f you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world,+ but I have chosen you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.+

The mosques, temples and synagogues are similarly well attended, as are three Kingdom Halls.
My own CofE church has merged with its neighbour so the congregation is healthy.
Fewer people may go to places of worship today but more go because they want to, not because they are expected to. Surely that is a positive.

TTT //religion is the cause of most of the problems.//
The usual trope dished out by the naive.
The biggest problems in the world today (you name 'em) say... the war in Ukraine, pollution, overpopulation, illegal immigration, the lowering of standards on AnswerBank, none of these have anything to do with religion.

"funny how only people who disagree with you are 'naiive'."
To be fair, that is by no means unique to Khandro!
Anyone who disagrees with ynnafanny is an 'eidjit', anyone who disagrees with TTT is a fifth columnist, etc.
There's little point complaining about it, because you and the other mods, and the Eds permit it - some might even say encourage it...

Certainly organised religion.
A lot of people are waking up to this cruel nonsense. A snare & a racket. I think that's why Big Brother is upon us, as the earthly powers that be know this. People need to be controlled. Putting the fear of 'God' into us.
As for John 15, 19, it reads, 'them and us' which in my view, is a bad mind set to be in.

I believe the Roman Catholic church may have a little responsibility for the overpopulation you mention.
