BBC breakfast ran a small item on this morning, following on from the Post Office scandal.

 

The government must be hoping that no BBC journalist gets hold of a copy of Private Eye, otherwise we will be seeing them report on a new government scandal on a daily basis.

I'm sure I must have been the victim of at least one scandal during my 77 years - can I have my compensation now please?

However it looks like Ofcom will be given powers to stop the BBC doing any such thing.

The Post Office Scandal, the Windrush Scandal and the Contaminated Blood Scandal are the top 3 ongoing UK scandals IMO.  They're all shockingly bad - I would put the Contaminated Blood Scandal at number 1:
