Aisha, daughter of Abu-Bakr was a beautiful little girl.  Muhammad married her when he was fifty three years old and she was only six years old.  He had intercourse with her when she was nine years old. (Wives of the Prophet, pages 57-61).

This is a gross case of child abuse by the prophet of Islam.

When Muhammad married Aisha, he set an example for the Muslims.  To this day older Muslim men marry much younger girls, following Muhammad's example.

There seems to be a cultural tendency to do so. Either that or we get a bigger percentage of the ones that do compared to the population average.

TTT stop sprouting absolute rubbish.  I have many Muslim friends and none that I know of objectify women.  Rather the opposite in many cases - women are respected for their contribution to society as GPs, Ambassadors, teachers etc.

Pakistan is an extremely conservative and religious society so yes i am sure there are plenty of pakistani men who objectify women as a matter of course. i would not say "all" because i am uncomfortable makinh sweeping statements about an entire ethnicity. i don't know about the race thing but it is common everywhere to fetishise the "other"

Most humans are decent folk. Religious leaders can be tempted to hubris and a liking for power, and so they try to lead their flocks in what they think is the right path, i.e. clinging to old traditions and rules. Ordinary folk don't want to live a life of strife and obedience, they want to feed their families and nurture their babies.

Indeed Geezer. Couple that with the realisation that if they do rape and abuse young white girls and the agencies tasked with preventing and punishing such wicked behaviour, not only do nothingabout it, but actively encourage it by punishing the abused children, their families, and anyone who tries to expose the vile crimes then there is bound to be an epidemic of criminal sexual perversion. Starmer and the plod have a lot to answer for. The whole Country has been shamed by them. Send every offender and their families back whence they came and foire every social worker who was complicant. Then get serious about the rest of the "problem".
