But there are other world leaders who have a warrant for their arrest issued by the ICC, such as Putin – but many, like Trump and Farage are vocal supporters (and even admirers) of this murderous thug.

 

The media need to point this out anytime some fool expresses support/admiration for these people.

I'm guessing Putin will do a Robert Mugabe and get away with murder.  Bringing dictators to justice is easier said than done, sadly.  Stalin being a prime example.

I think perhaps you need to separate those who support or admire these people from those - like me - who have no particular opinion of them one way or another, but fail to see the merits of supra-national organisaion issuing "arrest warrants" which it has no powers to enforce and threatening "prosecutions" which it can only undertake by consent.

NJ – As a Private Eye reader, I’m surprised that you have such a non-committal view of Putin.  Over the years PE have covered the many murders committed around the world by Russian agents.  Even the current PE issue (Russia Watch), details some pretty horrific things going on in Russia.

 

Putin must be pleased that the West has little interest in their domestic affairs – with our useful idiots (Trump & Farage singing his praises).
