of the American armed forces oath of allegiance  was written in 1884.

The first part "Solemnly swear to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies",  comes before " Obeying orders of the president".

Seeing as the oath was written long before the notion of a President being against the constitution, making him an enemy of it, was even conceived, is it now obligatory for the military to depose trump and order a new election?

This is currently not so much of an issue for the military, but for US government employees – do they follow the Constitution, or Trump’s Executive Orders that directly contradict the Constitution?
