e-mailing Christmas greetings
4 Answers
What does everybody regard as correct etiquette these days regarding e-mailing Christmas greetings?
We send out so many cards and a "round robin" Christmas letter to friends we rarely see that it's becoming an increasing time-consuming chore, not to mention the expense of postage.
I announced I was going to send as many letters & gretings as possible this year by e-mail, especially to friends overseas but my husband was horrified, saying he thought it looked mean not to send a card.
What does everybody else do?

I'd prefer to receive a card through the post from close friends and family, but saying that, I am useless at sending them out and never make the final posting date.
For family and friends in the UK a posted card, for friends in Europe maybe a christmas/happy new year card, and for my friends in the far east & Oz, an individual email with seasons greetings and wishing them all the best for 2007.
