Nice hotel in Staffordshire?

Looking for a nice country house hotel with bar and restaurant. Log fire would be fantastic!! Views would be good but not essential. Just cosy and romantic. Sumptuous springs to mind!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Any preference as to where in Staffordshire? North by the peaks or south by Wolverhampton/Birmingham/Shropshire?

wolverhampton/birmingham/shropshire area. I can't imagine there being anything round there although that would be ideal!
