Vexed
2 Answers
I don't get it. Somebody today took an executive decision, one they should not have and I dobbed them in, not out of spite but because their actions had a direct negative impact on me. Yet I feel bad and I am vexed for feeling bad. What is that all about?

You shouldn't feel bad, because I assume that the person who made that decision is not a close friend, therefore this decision will not harm any existing relationship.
You never know, the person who made that decision realised it was a mistake too late, but was too embarassed to reverse it until you spoke up about it. This person can probably learn from this in the future. :)

Thank you Kuin. I think you are right. Unfortunately ego gets in the way of comman sense and nobody likes to admit they are wrong. I try and understand the person's thought process and actions but most of the time there is no thought process, hence problems arise.
