I wouldn't no, but we live in an entirely different culture. Personally I'd have that thing made into a handbag before you could blink, the snake I mean, not the kid!
The fact the fangs have been removed makes this even more dangerous - and cruel. This is supposedly to make the kids fearless of snakes. But being fearless of a fangless snake and being fearless of a wild one with fangs very much intact are two completely different things.
Have to agree with saxy_jag - it is cruel to all concerned, and a recipe for disaster. There are enough wild cobras (mind you I don't think this one was very pleased!) to teach children of the danger of messing with them - the lesson is painful, and somewhat quick!
Completely stupid. The snake is obviously distressed, people who have no respect for animals make me so angry. All this is teaching is that wild animals can be used as playthings. Recipe for disaster
Hello there,
You know old 'Steve Irwin' did when he was a youngster but then different up bringing.
Would never let my boy play with a poisonous snake although like saxy was saying the fangs and venom had been removed---poor thing
Cruel to both child and animal. Shame on the country that perpetuates this. Some cultures are more advanced than others, and the culture portayed in the video is backward, reactionary and needs to move into the 21st century.
