Basically gave you the same answer over in B&S, but some widow/ers wear their weading band on the third finger of their right hand. Sort of indicative of gone but not forgotten.
Then again could mean absolutly anything or nothing.

it's pretty complicated - in some countries the wedding ring is worn on the right hand. In yet other countries, it may be worn on the left or the right, depending on the religion of the wearer!

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. That's purely based on the fact that only way to get married is to find a partner and have a wedding.

Some men don't wear a wedding band at all; widowers and gay men often wear wedding rings on the third finger of their right hand (as do some foreigners); other married men wear them on the third finger of the left hand, the same as women.
