More men cycle

How is it when women tend to be more fitness conscious and more eco friendly than men, do we see more men than women travel to work on cycles?

In total, or as a percentage of that gender? i.e do more men than women cycle (which is simply explained) or there is a higher percentage of those men who work that cycle tthan the percentage of women who work that cycle.

Quite honestly I wouldn't want to bike to work arriving sweaty and have to worry about smelling for the rest of the day. Most women who cycle to keep fit do so when they know they'll be having a shower on getting to their destination or back home.
