Ethnic Minorities

What happens when the ethnic minorities become the majority ? which they eventually will and in some places already are. I am listening to Radio 4 (The Moral Maze) where people are bending over backwards to be politically correct. Nothing dare be said even slightly bad about 'ethnic minorities'. Oh, and they have just brought Gays into it. Why don't we be done with it, forcibly elect all black/asian/gay/lesbian/muslim/Jewish/French/Polish MPs and let natural societal evolution do the rest.

But back to the question...

How do you forcibly elect any MPs? By their very definition, an MP is someone who's already been elected.

Why don't we just continue with the current system - democracy?

So, does the same principle apply to the (hundreds of thousands of english who currently live in Spain and France running their bars, restaurants and B&Bs? Should the Spanish and French send them home? Or is that different?

I think there should be no question of minority preference. Some countries and islands are populated by people of different ethnicities. I think if the minority invades or decides to live among the majority, then they should abide by the majority rules. If they don�t like it they get to hell out and go back to your mother land!!

What interests and concerns me is what happens when an ethnic minority becomes the majority, which is certainly the case in some areas. What I am thinking is that ethnic minority is a polite term embracing positive discrimination based on colour or culture, and is absolute and fixed, rather than relative and fluid. And no, I'm not pointing the finger at anybody in particular.
