Why are there so many angry people on here? Its like some people only come on here to have some sort of over-the-computer row!! Whats the point in that? Its not nice to be horrid to people.

Its an interesting topic - are people either less afraid to vent their 'real' feelings on the internet (where there is a lot of anonymity) or is it a case of people deliberately being nasty or confrontational becuase they know it can't come back on them.

Probably because there are so many things wrong in our society at present people have plenty to be angry about.. Most of the discourse is not rowing but an exchange of opinions. You sound like my mother-in-law who when we sit round the dinner table discussing current affairs accuses us all of arguing!!

I didn't partake in or reply to your question on Q&P in the first place .Just happened to see it and read it .It was obvious where it was going to lead to !
You are the one who is moaning people are horrid to you.
If you don't like the response you get then don't post questions which invite all out argument in the first place or if you feel like that then you will have to take the rough with the smooth as to what answers you get .

There's a difference between asking a Q that invites sensible debate and a Q that is guaranteed to inflame people ....especially the dedicated cruciverbalists !

Here people get cross because its a place where opinions differ. I like to think that yup, I argue with people on here but never make it personal, which you see quite often on here. When people start calling you names its because they have run out of valid opinion.
