We are told that 200 hundred houses per day will have to be built to house the 1000 immigrants a day that are entering this country.. Already are public services are under strain, yet still we continue to admit people with little or no job prospects. European workers are eligible for Child Benefits which they send home to their dependants. yet are pensioners are one of the worst paid in Europe.Inter-racial tensions are on the increase, when will our politicians realise that multi-culturism is fine in theory but alas does not work in practice. Is it time for this madness to end?

How do account for all the european beggars I see on the streets? Far from being racist I have many Sri Lankan & West Indian friends many of whom agree with me. This island of ours needs Immigrants but only those that will add to our well being, not subtract from it..This country is fast becoming the dustbin of Europe with people queing on the other side of the channel to get here , you may be happy with this JAKE THE PEG but many like myself who have seen the deterioration of this country in the last 20 years are not!!

Valid points on both sides , but if we can't house people who are born here and worked and paid their taxes etc . why take in extra people , as there is a severe housing shortage in the South East . Where I live the cheapest house to buy is �180k but wages not high enough to get a mortgage , social housing has a waiting list of years ,so where will all these people live.

I could bore you all day with statistics JAKE, As is often said there are statistics,statistics, & damned lies, I prefer reality,get your head out of the books & open your eyes to what is actually happening around you, or do you spend so much time on your P.C you havent the time P.S. we all know the answer is yes but we will get accused of racism because the country is too full and cannot economically afford the amount of immigrants.

It makes me laugh that people see themselves as pro-immigration and think that they are better people. You can't leave more and more in when there symple isn't enough room or jobs or tolorance for it!

It's not about helping out the needy, it's about having common sense for god sake!

Actually I don't like many people who are British born. I like my family, my dogs, my friends and some of the people I work with.

But, on the whole most British people could disappear off the face of the earth. I would intellectually fight for their well being , but after that, well I don't care about you, you don't care about me, So why is anyone bothered if this country becomes Muslim Eastern European in time?

there are about the same number leaving as arriving. The reason that more houses need to be built is because the British are no longer inclined to live 6 to a room. Indeed, as families get smaller and smaller you need many dwellings for the number of people who would once have lived in a single house. Immigrants are more inclined to share housing, so the situation would be worse if they left and the runaway Brits came back. (And of course if that happened there'd be nobody to clean the railways and staff the NHS.)

I am not getting into this arguement but thought that westonboy should know that the saying is not "statistics, statistics and damned lies". The phrase that you were looking for is "lies, damned lies and statistics"
