I don't know what country they're from but they pretend to be Muslims. They're some in Manchester and London I don't know what other cities they're in, but these are two places I've seen them.
Anyway they walk around harassing people for money. One of their kids nicked my mates handbag which had her purse, mobile etc in it.
Are they allowed to beg like that? Are they illegal immigrants? Why aren't they told to stop or get a job or something?

whoever they are,they should be locked up...and if they are immigrants or illigal immigrants then they should be sent back to their home country.
Or even better, the UK should adopt similar punishments to those dished out in some countries, and have their hands chopped off......

yep they are more than likley to be romanian,cosovan or albanian or from there abouts?

ie: they wear head scarfs and clogs. and they are a complete waste of space, strange enough you also get them in the major tourist town in poland ie: krakow,czestochowa,warsaw

only last year i came across one (in krakow), who was sat outside a church with a little baby (about 1 year old), begging she had no food to feed her baby, etc etc so i told her ok no probelm i'll help you, come with me we'll go to a food shop and i'll buy you a weeks worth of shopping!, i would have thought she would be over the moon..


but no she wasnt interested in that she wanted Money, cash so i told her to F*** O**,

they really are the scum that prey on the guilable.

On Whimslow road in Manchester one of my friends (who is a Muslim) asked them something Islamic (I don�t know what) and they just kind of hissed at her gave her a dirty look and walked off!! She�s the one who told me they�re not Muslims but they pretend to be.

The dirty look was probably because they didn't have a clue what your friend was saying, because even if they were muslims the chances of your friend speaking the same language as them weren't great (not all muslims speak the same language!).

I agree with the above answers, many people have come over from Romania etc and commit these crimes. The headscarfs are their traditional dress, they are not "pretending" to be anything.
