Not like the government in England eh? they would never dream of doing anything wrong like getting us into the most unpopular war in history, or even stealing the oppositions ideas and claiming they thought of them all along (even after they tried to rubbish them), or fortnightly bin collections

Don't compare yourselves with England always. You are a separate people-talk about Scotland . Not being able to mention your own country without reference to England shows a complex. By the way I agree about the Iraq war,but it wasn't the English Parliament but the UK. Parliament with ,not one, but 2 Scots in the lead of the Government.

You get along by talking about England-as if you can only see yourselves in terms of England. No one can say that the English are anti Scot ,think of Blair,Brown,Kennedy and even that twit,the leader of the Tories has a Scottish name.

They couldn't even invade England without falling out among themselves after they got to about Doncaster.
Even after they took over the throne of England ( James 1st of England, 6th of Scotlland)they still don't realise they have been in charge and bvlame England for all their woes.
So the jocks in charge now, tax the English to the hilt to subsidise them.
AND, I can trace my Scottish ancestry (a Wallace) back to 1637 so I am not predjudiced (much)

brionon, no hard feelings but when you replied to our responses you complained that we Scots cannot mention our country without reference to England. I saw your question as an attack on Scotland by an Englishman, that's why I made the reference.
