I favour Farming as the most and Fashion as the least useful.

Useful - Agriculture (you can always walk to the farm!)

Carers looking after aged an disabled relatives -- do a tremendous job with little or no support, they shame us all.

Brionon, I don't know how fit dustmen need to be these days - we have wheely bins that the men trundle to the lorry to be automatically emptied, but no doubt those who still carry dustbins on their shoulders have to be pretty fit.

Naomi,Where I live we put glass and paper out separately and watching the men go by flinging bundles of paper up on the truck I noticed not a fat one between them.
