Since the 19th November I've had a fim of local builders in my home making good the damage done by the summer floods. Apart fron the bass, there are often 4, 5 or even 6 workmen who interchange between the other properties he is handling. With Christmas almost upon us, in what way can I show my appreciation bearing in mind that they seem to chop and change almost daily?
And further, is this what is expected?

How about a tin of Roses, Celebrations etc?

I wouldn't say it's expected, but if you're on friendlyish terms with them it'd be a nice gesture.
I agree with Boo, keep it small and simple. Include a small note with simply 'thank you' will be very much appreciated, I'm sure.

These workmen are very well aware of the trauma many have been through and may be embarrassed if you go overboard.

Thanks very much, you've given me just what I need to know, Merry Christmas to you both.
And don't tip just the bass; give something to the soprano, contralto and tenor as well.

When I posted the question and then realised the spelling mistake I thought to myself, ""If anyone can notice and pick up on that, Chakka Can. And I was right...for once.
