Hi all. I posted this question in TV, but might have better chance in here. I recently watched a great film (part of the White season on tv) called White Girl.In one scene the girl repeats a phrase over + over again when her stepfather is berating her and I would love to know what she was saying. Apologies for spelling, but it sounded like "shahha illa...."
Many thanks x

Correction- that should be "shaddah illa"
I watched that a bit, I know exactly what you are asking about. She was trying to say " Ashhadu La Illaha Illah Wa Ashahdu Anna Muhammed ur RasooALlah" That really Means "I bear witness that there is no God worth worship But only Allah and Muhammed (pbuh) is his messenger"

This is known as "Shahadah" and when someone wants to become Muslim then they say that. I hope it will give you some idea.

Bathsheba - British TV played that programme, not Osama Bin Laden. Still You see Wizard & Theland have problem with that. I call it Islam Phobia. And that has no cure.
