Could anyone tell me when sending a letter to Jersey from France what do I write after Jersey and the postcode? It's part of the British Isles so would it be Isles Britanniques? I've never seen this written anywhere on an address.
Channel Islands will do nicely. I know it's not in French but the French Post Office handles millions of postcards alone each day, all in different languages.
Thank you jake but I've never seen these on the end of an address. When I popped into the (french) post-office the girl said 'put England or Great Britain'!!
I think I'll just leave it at Jersey and post-code and have my address on the back, just in case...
Thanks to you both for your answers.
I could ve wrong but technically I don't think the Channel Islands are part of Britain or the British Isles. However they are part of the United Kindom.
