Just a matter of curiosity, I wondered if anyone knows of someone named Cinderella, after the Fairy Tale character .... oh I must have too much time on my hands :)

I do not know a Cinderella but have taiught childrenn named: King, Prince, Princess and Prince.

I always thought that her real name was Ella (or possibly Eleanor - Ella being a shortened version) and that the Cinder bit was added because she slept in the cinders.

no but my daughter tells everyone she is called cinderella - embarrassing when the doctors even announce it over the tannoy in a packed waiting room. even worse my partner thinks he is god!!!!!
