Spitting

It makes me sick, why do people have to do it ?
Where I work it seems to be mostly done by the blacks and eastern europeans, it seems to be common practice for white hoodies and chavs too.
It's a ******* disgusting thing to do ?

It is absolutely disgusting, and without starting the whole immigrant/foreigner debate off again - I have noticed a lot of foreigners doing it.
However, the worst instance had to be a young girl I saw doing it the other week (I hasten to add she was white).
Horrid. they should have their faces rubbed in it, I agree.

So if any of you cough and bring up phlem do you just swallow it? A tissue to spit it into is not always available.
I don't spit for the sake of it but if im ever in the above situation i will.
I aslo refrain from spitting infront of other people and always into a flower bed, bush ect - not on the pavement.
So im discusting?
I think some people are too scared about a little germ here and there.
Im a kitchen fitter and my hands are never clean throughout the day - not to mention touching old appliances. Then i eat my packet lunch.
I am not always able to wash my hands but im very rarely ill.
